This spearfishing/freediving lecture and workshop will be an in depth study of freediving physiology and safety, spearfishing techniques and safety, gear rigging methods, and shallow water blackout. We will cover all spearfishing and freediving gear and the advantages and disadvantages of each. Discussion is welcome. The entire course is approximately 3 hours.

. plenty of 15 to 25 lbers around reefs in 35 feet. Some bigger fish but all are traveling in singles. No schools of big fish, they have to be hunted but they are around. Most big fish are at and around the 50 feet mark. Three 40 pound fish made from a great morning.

It’s been an awesome year with great numbers of fish, great vis and great new and old friends on charters. Here are a few picks from the year thus far. There is still plenty of time to fish. Ran out in pea soup fog. After it lifted around 8 am divers got in the water and shot some great fish including one 50 pounder. Also seabass opened today a few 3 and 4 lbers where speared . Another great day at the office 😉
It is that time of year again, but this year was started with a bang. Spearo Alistair took his personal best at 64 pounds!!!!! yup you read that right 64 pounds.(good luck topping that one Alistair;)) On the same trip Alex took a beautiful 45 pounder! If you haven’t already, its time to get wet!
